It is December already! Like every month so far, we have been having fun learning in Grade 3. We recently hung up our geologist hats and replaced it with a building engineer hat. Students will be learning how to build structures and what materials and shapes will make a strong structure. In Math, students have been building 2 digit numbers and finding the parts that make up a 2 digit number. We will be beginning to practice addition and subtraction before the break and continue after the break. In Language Arts, we are practicing new sounds every day so students can become great spellers and readers. In Social Studies, students will be finishing up our unit on Peru and after the break we will begin learning about Tunisia. The whole class did great in memorizing their lines for our Christmas project. I am so proud of each one of them! I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
